In order to provide services and benefits to members of TheYukon.ca the following types of information are collected:
Email: If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. Email is not recognized as a secure medium of communication. You should not send private or confidential information to us by email.
Cookies: We may collect certain non-personal information from you by using small text files known as cookies. Members are required to have Cookies enabled on their computers to enjoy the benefits of our website. Personal information is not stored in cookies.
Traffic Logs: Web server logs collect non-personal information about how our website is used. Information gathered through Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent on our website, and the websites visited just before and just after our website.
Contact Information: You may choose to provide us with your contact information in order to post a classified ad, provide content submissions, make suggestions for the operation of our site, or participate in an online interactive activity or marketing research. Submissions and postings become public information and we urge you to always use caution and discretion when posting any personally identifying information.

Under no circumstances, except as specified herein, will we willingly give access to your Registration or Profile Survey information to any third party for any purpose, either commercial or otherwise. We may also disclose information to a third party if the disclosure will enable that party to perform a business, professional or technical support function for TheYukon.ca.
We use personal information for purposes of enhancing or improving our services, administering and expanding our business activities or responding to inquiries. We use non-personal information to calculate the aggregate number of people visiting our website and to determine which parts of it are most popular. We also compile general member information to create an in-house demographic profile of our members for the sole purpose of bringing more relevant content and services to TheYukon.ca.
